Before each Jahrgang of Australian students is sent off to Germany, GASS `organises a handful of functions to help them get to know each other. There will usually be a farewell dinner attended by Stipis and GASSies as well as "Kaffee und Kuchen"s and the SAGSE Briefing.
GASS is also responsible for distributing plane tickets, rail passes and insurance forms and assisting the Stipis at Check In.
