Welcome Function

The annual banquet is normally held on the second Friday of October. It is attended by Stipis, GASSies, members of SAGSE, sponsors, corporate and school members and special guests such as the German Consul. During the night, the newly selected Stipis are presented with their scholarships.

The three course meal is accompanied by musical entertainment as GASSies, Stipis, sponsors and everyone else mix it up on the dance floor. A raffle is also conducted during the course of the night with prizes such as bottles of wine, nights at the Park Hyatt, navigation systems and a return flight to Germany.
